What's in a Name?
One afternoon, Aaron was looking up something in scripture, when he
flipped to Romans 6:4. After reading it, he realized this was what
it's all about. He chose to use the "new life" as the band name. Because once you come to know Jesus Christ, you are born into a new life.
Each and every one of us are given an opportunity for this "new life." And this is how NewLife came about!
just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

How We Came Together
Nothing is "coincidental."Things happen for different reasons. Thus is the way with the guys of NewLife. Each member
past and present came from numerous genres of music.
And each adds their little bits and pieces together forming the music they have today. When asked what style of music NewLife plays, answers range from: rock, pop,
country, and even blues. All these mixes of genres gives NewLife a very unique sound.
Why?
The band consists of a few friends that all want to convey the message of Jesus Christ to those that are struggling, and those who have yet to know Him. Our songs are about the trials and struggles of every day life in a world full of sin. We hope that our God-given lyrics, music, and messages can help anyone out there looking for a helping hand. And letting people know, there is help, all you have to do is ask Him and believe.
